Benjamin “Wolf”

Confidence & Empowerment Coach for Recovering People-Pleasers
I know what it’s like to live for everyone but yourself.
To bend, shrink, overthink, and overgive just to avoid disappointment.
To say “yes” when every part of you wants to say “no.”
To silence your truth for fear of being “too much,” “too selfish,” or “not enough.”
I lived like that for most of my life.
And I learned — the hard way — that people-pleasing isn’t kindness.
It’s self-abandonment disguised as love.
From Pleaser to Power: My Personal Journey
I grew up believing that putting others first was noble — even necessary.
In my household, self-sacrifice was seen as virtue, and expressing your true needs was often labeled as selfish. I became a master at staying small to keep the peace. I got good at hiding parts of myself, avoiding conflict, and striving to earn approval — from my parents, my teachers, my bosses, my partners, and my peers.
That conditioning led me down a path that looked successful on the outside — graduating with honors, a master’s degree, a career in accounting, steady income, external validation — but left me feeling hollow, anxious, disconnected from my truth, and unsure of who I really was.
Everything changed when I left that career and set out on a solo hike through the Colorado Trail.
For five weeks, I walked with my fears, my doubts, and — for the first time — my truth. I let myself be guided not by what others wanted, but by what I truly needed. That experience broke me open and rebuilt me from the inside out.
Since then, my journey has been one of deep healing, radical honesty, and choosing myself — again and again.
I became certified as a Health and Life Coach not only to support others, but to reclaim my own voice. I immersed myself in therapy, communication work, nervous system regulation, community, spiritual practices, and personal rituals that helped me embody my truth unapologetically.
A Bit More About Me
I go by “Wolf” for many reasons, but most notably because the wolf symbolizes instinct, sovereignty, and the courage to walk your own path — even when it goes against the pack.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me facilitating circles, mentoring teenage boys through rites of passage, walking in nature, playing disc golf, dancing, making nourishing meals, or singing my truth through music.
The Work I Do Now
Today, I help recovering people-pleasers reclaim their voice, build true confidence, and say no without guilt.
My coaching is a safe space to:
Stop abandoning yourself to make others comfortable
Set boundaries with compassion and clarity
Tune into your “yes” and “no” — and trust them
Rebuild self-esteem from the inside out
Show up in relationships as your full, unfiltered self
Remember that you matter, too
My Approach
I combine the structure of transformational coaching with the intuition of lived experience — walking beside you as both a skilled guide and a compassionate ally.
We don’t just talk about change.
We practice it — with tools, embodiment, reflection, and accountability tailored to your journey.
This is your invitation to stop people-pleasing and start self-honoring — with courage, clarity, and compassion.
Ready to come home to yourself?
This work changed my life.
Now, it’s my honor to walk beside others as they reclaim theirs.
Let’s begin the journey — together.
